These flexible end caps are designed to flex and fit into the ends of the PDL crossbar replacing the OEM plugs that tend to fall out. Still quite rigid and tough but have a little give so they are less likely to scratch up your kayak.
The Old Town plugs for the PDL are notorious for coming out of the drive thwart.
These replacement plugs are perfect and definitely create a protection for the end of the PDL r drive thwart.
