Choose the best seat height for your comfort. Made for the Old Town PDL, Minn Kota and Autopilot models. Simply use a block of wood to test and adjust to your perfect seat height. Each version has 1/2 inch of built in height. From there, choose whatever height you want to try. Too tall? Cut a bit off and try again. Or, pickup boards based on the chart below for multiple height options with less cutting.
A height reference to standard board sizes (example: 2x4 is actually 1.5" x 3.5"):
DIYser alone - 1/2" rise
DIYser + 1 x 2 = 1.25" rise
DIYser + 2 x 2 = 2" rise
DIYser + 2 x 3 = 3" rise
DIYser + 2 x 4 = 4" rise
PDL version also has notches on either end to help with alignment to the center of each board. Just draw a center line before installation.
PDL version has two holes to be used with bungees, cordage, zipties or other securement options (not included).
Sold in pairs and include 4 stainless steel screws for securing the DIYser to a board.
