This extended steering handle is designed to be a simple, direct replacement for the small OEM steering knob that comes on the Old Town PDL kayaks. The larger size makes it much easier to grab and steer. Integrated in the handle is a tensioning knob that allows you to tighten down the tension to reduce slop in the steering or even lock it into one position.
Includes the handle, tensioner knob and necessary hardware for easy install.

Absolutely love this new edition. The first things and greatest things was the customer service. I guess I’m not not good putting things together. Took me awhile to figure out how to put this thing on. Well I couldn’t figure it out and reached out to Bradget via chat and they walked me through it. Basically a brief how to and I’ll be it worked. Thank you. The steering works well as it’s a bigger handle and fits my big hands better. Thank you for the advice on how to put this thing on.
